Rita is a governance and risk management expert engaged as an Associate Consultant with Quality Assurance and Management Consultants. She is also a Certified Professional Coach in Transformative Coaching.

Rita has vast experience in governance, risk, and financial management with over 15 years at the senior executive management level. She has held various senior positions with Standard Bank Mauritius Limited, Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited, Bank of Africa, and Citibank Uganda Limited where she served as Executive Director.

Rita is currently the Chairperson of the Member Network Panel for ACCA Uganda and a Board member of the Rotary club of Kisugu Victoria View. She is a member of the League of East Africa Directors, Board Room Africa, and the Institute of Corporate Governance Uganda.

She has also served on several Boards and National Committees including World Vision Uganda, Vision Fund International, Community Integrated Development Initiatives, Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services, Uganda National Anti-Money Laundering Committee, and Uganda Bankers Association among others.

She is a member of ACCA (UK), a Paul Harris Fellow, and an honorary fellow (FUIB, Hon) of the Uganda Institute of Banking & Financial Services (UIB&FS) in recognition of her contribution to the banking sector in Uganda.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Policy and Planning from Makerere University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics and Social Administration) from Makerere University.
